Fire Hydrant Test Dec. 4 on Kawili Street

A fire hydrant flow test will be done on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at a hydrant along West Kawili Street in Hilo.

The county Department of Water Supply said the test will be conducted between 9 a.m. and noon.

Because the affected area may experience slight discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test, those residents are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.
