Wine, Cheese and Chocolate
They serve our community at the Hilo Medical Center and will be doing so again on one special night.
Join physician waiters as they circulate with appetizers at the annual Wine and Cheese event on November 4, at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel’s Moku Ola Room from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Let taste buds savor chocolates, fine cheeses and locally sourced ingredients for the delectable appetizers as they are paired with great wine.
This 10th annual celebration and benefit welcomes new doctors and honors the physician of the year.
The event will also give the wine neophyte something to talk about at dinner parties under the tutelage of Grapes store proprietor Randy Nunokawa and Ryan Kadota of Kadota’s Liquor store.
Learn the art of wine tasting from the wine experts and sip from Master Sommelier Patrick Okubo’s well of knowledge, as he makes a special guest appearance.
Chef Ernesto will talk about wine and cheese pairing, and JE Orozco will keep the conversation and live auction lively as the master of ceremonies.
The Hilo Medical Center Foundation accepts donations and has utilized funds for support of worthy projects such as procurement of a Handi-cap van, renovation and expansion of the medical center’s ER and lobby, construction of the Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home and more.
Tickets for this event are $55 pre-sale and $65 at the door. Tickets are available at Grapes, Kadota’s Liquor, The Most Irresistible Shop and the Hilo Medical Center office.
