A free workshop on the various aspects of personal credit, why it’s important, and how it affects you will be offered by the Bank of Hawaii at their Kailua-Kona branch on October 10 from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

The 90-minute workshop, offered by the bank as part of its smart money seminars, will explain the basics of credit, the importance of having a good credit history, as well as credit reporting and scoring.

During the class attendees will learn how to get your credit lines back under your control, what to do if you experience problems with your credit, and where to find help if you’re overwhelmed by your credit issues.

This seminar is free and open to anyone to attend. While Bank of Hawaii will also offer this class on Maui and Oahu, this is the only seminar being offered on the Big Island.
