Repaving of Airport Road to Cause Traffic Delays

Motorists traveling to Hilo International Airport should expect delays beginning Wednesday as a repaving project gets underway on Kekuanaoa Street between the post office and the airport terminal.
The project is expected to last until the end of December, the state Department of Transportation said in a statement.
Work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, weather permitting, with occasional night work from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday nights through Friday mornings.
