UPDATE: Police Identify Honomu Stabbing Victim

Police have identified the man fatally stabbed Sunday morning as 30-year-old Joshua Earl Trickel of Honomu.

Police responding to a 6:18 a.m. report of a stabbing at a Pua Street home arrested 49-year-old Daniel Schuster of Honomu on suspicion of murder.

Schuster remained in custody today at the Hilo cellblock while detectives continued their investigation. No charges had been filed.
