Puna Man Charged With Burglarizing Nanawale Estates Home

A 37-year-old Pahoa man has been accused by police of breaking into a Nanawale Estates home last week.

Jesse Robert Murray was charged Wednesday with burglary, police said today. Murray was also charged with two counts of theft, one for last week’s incident and another count for an unrelated July 6 case in Kailua-Kona.

Police said about $2,500 worth of items were taken from the Nanawale Estates home.

Murray, who was arrested on Tuesday, had his bail set at $45,000.
