Police Looking For Calf Rustler in Hamakua

Big Island police are investigating the theft of a calf that occurred last week in the Honoka`a area.
Police said on either July 13 or July 14, someone entered a livestock paddock on agricultural property in Kapulena leased by the county and butchered a calf.
The meat was valued at more than $400.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Officer Duwayne Waipa at 775-7533.
