Man Wanted on Probation Violation Arrested Last Month

Big Island police today said a 40-year-old man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant has been located.
Sheldon Joaquin, who police said in early June was known to frequent the Hamakua and Waipio Valley areas, was wanted for allegedly violating terms of his probation for an assault conviction.
He was arrested and charged in South Kohala on June 19, police said.
