BIIF Boys Volleyball Tournament Update – April 25

The BIIF Division II volleyball tournament got underway Tuesday night with the seven thru ten seeds taking the court, and the higher seeds won out to advance to Wednesday’s quarterfinals.

At Konawaena’s Onizuka Gym, Hualalai dropped the first set against St. Joseph, but won the next three to advance to the next round. Set scores were 15-25, 25-20, 25-17, and 25-16. Meanwhile, Pahoa cruised in straight sets, 25-9, 25-15, and 25-21 over the tenth-seeded Seasiders of Laupahoehoe.

Meanwhile, the Division I postseason waits until  Friday to get underway. All games in the Division I tournament will be played at Onizuka Gymnasium.
