A soulful surfer turned recording artist and philanthropist is performing on the Big Island for two nights only at the Kahilu Theatre. On April 28, and April 29, Jack Johnson, John Cruz and Paula Fuga will entertain lucky audiences for this concert benefiting Johnson’s Kokua Foundation.

Tickets go on sale from March 3, beginning at 9 a.m. to noon for Kokua Foundation Members only. Members will need to provide verification with their member identification as well as photo I.D.

Ticket sales to the general public will be made available from noon to 5 p.m. on March 3. Tickets are $50 each, and will not be sold by phone. Individuals are limited to two tickets per person and are available only through the venue box office.

Jack Johnson has released five studio albums that have reached gold and platinum status. Johnson was also featured on a major motion picture soundtrack. He created Sing-a-longs and Lullabies for the film Curious George. His music is chill, nostalgic and easy to listen to. The warmth from his guitar and the lyrical vocals, make Johnson a memorable artist and musician; he makes listeners hit the repeat and play button over and over again.
