BRIEF: Police Seeking Six on Outstanding Warrants

Police are asking for the Big Island community’s help in locating five men and one woman wanted on outstanding bench warrants.

All are known to frequent the Kona area.

Those being sought include two who were described as local males with dark complexions who may have shaved their heads. Those are Alfred Sanchez, 25, who is 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds, and Jacob Gonzalez, 29, 5-foot-7 and 145 pounds.

Also being sought is Garry Carvalho, 51, who is 5-foot-9 and weighs 185 pounds, has a dark complexion and black hair,

possibly worn long. Police are also seeking Matthew Akina, 22, who is 5-9 and 170 pounds, and Hakunaalii Kane, 18, 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds. Both were reported as frequenting the Kailua-Kona area.

The sixth person is Victoria Piper, 32, of Kealakekua. She is described as Caucasian and approximately 5-foot-7 and 115 pounds, with a fair complexion and short black hair.

Anyone with information on these individuals is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo.
