Screen Shot 2015-05-06 at 8.39.17 PMOur current south-southwest is expected to ease late in the afternoon and throughout the night. Friday an incoming swell will overlap with the current one. That second pulse is expected to peak over the weekend and ease early next week.

A new northwest swell is expected to build Thursday, peaking late Friday up to waist high or so at the best spots.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
