Police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in an assault reported to have occurred early Monday in Hilo.

At about 1:30 a.m. Monday, officers responded to an area near the intersection of Kilauea Avenue and Aupuni Street where a Hilo man reported he had been punched by one man while another man held him down.

Video surveillance images depict a man wearing a hooded flannel print-type jacket and shirt.
