AstroDay will take place at Kona Commons on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The family science celebration has been a Hilo tradition for the 16 years and will be in Kona for the first time.
The free annual event, sponsored by the Mauna Kea Astronomy Outreach Committee, will feature free solar viewing, science fun, demos, robotics and prizes and giveaways.
AstroDay will be at the former Sports Authority space at Kona Commons located at 74-5450 Makala Blvd, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740.
