Sparky Kawamoto Pool to Close for Repairs

The Charles “Sparky” Kawamoto Swim Stadium pool will close for emergency repairs beginning on Monday, June 26, 2017.

The Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation announced that the pool will be closed until further notice.

All keiki swim lessons will be held at the NAS Pool at regularly scheduled times.

The following public swim hours will be in effect at NAS Pool:

Mondays & Wednesdays
Public Rec & Adult Lap Swim: 5:30 a.m.–9 a.m.

Saturdays/ Sundays
Public Rec swim: 8:30–10:45 a.m.
Adult Lap swim: 11–11:45 a.m.
Public Rec Swim: 1:30–4 p.m.

The schedules are subject to change, based on staff availability.

Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation apologizes for any inconveniences as they work to complete the repairs as soon as possible.

The Charles “Sparky” Kawamoto  pool is located at 260 Kalanikoa St.
