Looking Ahead
A front is forecast to approach the islands on Monday. It’s expected to stall well northwest of Kauai so the atmosphere should remain stable with very little rain through the middle of the week. Showers could become more active by the end of the week for the western part of the state as another front approaches.

We have light and variable winds today with local sea breezes kicking in this afternoon. Winds will be up to 10 mph with high temperatures from 79° to 84° but feeling warmer due to the heat index. Mostly sunny skies in the morning with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Isolated daytime showers for windward and southeast spots. Scattered showers for leeward spots in the afternoon.
