Gusts up to 80 mph on the Summits, Partly Sunny Skies

A High Wind Warning is posted for the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa through Tuesday at noon. West winds of 40 to 60 mph are expected with gusts up to 80 mph.

Looking Ahead
Nice weather for most spots the next couple of days as drier more stable conditions are ushered in. More unsettled weather is expected to return for the second half of the work week and possibly into early next week. A gentle, cooler northerly breeze is forecast through Tuesday and expected to turn easterly Wednesday, before possibly turning southerly towards the end of the week.

There’s a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. High temperatures from 79° to 84°. Winds will be northwest around 15 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
