The jury selection process for the felony trial for Big Island Mayor Billy Kenoi began today, Oct. 10, 2016.

Over 1,600 Hawai‘i Island residents have been summoned for the jury pool.

The selection process is expected to take up to two weeks to complete.

Mayor Kenoi is on trial for alleged misuse of his county-issued spending card  (P-Card).
