Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park’s visitor center will be closed between Jan. 25 and Jan. 29 for maintenance work.

Park officials say the work, which includes painting the building and conducting water service, will take the entire week and cause the closure of the entire visitor center building. Water service will not be available on Monday and Tuesday.

Visitor services will be temporarily set-up in the parking lot area between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

If the work is completed ahead of schedule, the visitor center may be re-opened sooner.
