Pair Charged in Pahoa Burglary

A pair of burglars were arrested by the Hawai’i Police Department on Wednesday, Feb. 25 after police were notified of a burglary in progress.

Concerned citizens confronted the pair and called police just before 10 a.m., when they witnessed a man and a woman loading items into a car at a home on Oneloa Street in Pahoa.

Police arrested Naomi R. Fenebock, 31, of Pahoa and Blane A. Gracida, 37, of Hilo at 10:10 a.m. the same day. Upon being arrested, the two were taken to the Hilo police cellblock as the investigation continued by the Area I Criminal Investigations Section.

Thursday at 9 p.m., Fenebock and Gracida were charged with first-degree burglary. Their bail was set at $25,000 each.

The two had their initial court appearance on Friday.
