Hilo Man Wanted for Questioning in Robbery Case

The Hawai`i Police Department is looking for 23-year-old Hilo man Jeffrey De Castro to question him about a robbery incident that took place Monday.

According to an HPD release, the robbery happened at a home on Pilipa`a Street in Panaewa at approximately 2:32 p.m. Patrol officers say that a 32-year-old Hilo woman was punched and choked by an acquaintance and left unconscious while her cell phone and purse was stolen.

De Castro is described as 5-foot-11 and 220 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.
