University of Hawaiʻi holding public meetings for proposed tuition increases in 2025, 2026

The University of Hawaiʻi 10-campus system is proposing a freeze on undergraduate tuition for two more academic years, but it would be followed by 2% increases in the next two academic years.

UH Community Colleges Receive Accreditation Reaffirmation 

The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges approved reaffirmation of accreditation for seven-year terms for Hawai‘i Community College.

Center on Disability Studies Receives $6.9 Million

The Center on Disability Studies (CDS) in the College of Education at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa has been awarded nearly $7 million by the U.S. Department of Education.

UH Community Colleges Partner for Entrepreneurship Program

Grant funds totaling $100,000, part of a $10 million Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career Training Grant to UHCC’s from the United States Department of Labor, will support he program.
