Initial reports indicate no impact to Kīlauea following earthquakes in East Hawai‘i
According to officials at Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, the quakes weren’t magma-related. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
No tsunami threat following 4.3-magnitude earthquake near Ka‘ū
The tumbler occurred at 3:17 p.m. As in all earthquakes, be aware of the possibility of after-shocks.
Magnitude-3.6 quake rattles West Hawai‘i
At 9:21 p.m., the tumbler struck 2 miles west-southwest of Hōlualoa at a depth of about 8 miles below sea level.
