Hawaiʻi County extends waste restrictions at East Hawaiʻi Sort Station

Commercially generated waste larger than 5 cubic yards must be taken to the West Hawaiʻi Sanitary Landfill until June 30, 2026.

E. Hawaiʻi Sort Station Load Size Restriction Continues through to 2022

The existing East Hawaiʻi Regional Sort Station restrictions on businesses hauling commercially generated wastes larger than five cubic yards will be extended for one year, through June 30, 2022.
