Hawai‘i Red Cross Volunteers Deployed to Midwest to Assist Disaster Victims

Three Hawai‘i Red Cross volunteers were deployed to three separate states to assist victims of severe flooding, storms and tornados in the Midwest.

Red Cross Needs Volunteers for Hurricane Season

Hurricane Season begins June 1, and the Hawaii Red Cross is in need of more volunteers to work in shelters, conduct damage assessment and assist with logistics.

Three More Hawai‘i Red Cross Volunteers Deploy to Samoa

Three volunteers from O‘ahu will join two volunteers from the Big Island, Karen Kane and Susan Hicks, who deployed to Samoa in the middle of February.

Five Hawai‘i Island Red Cross Volunteers Head to Texas, Louisiana

Five volunteers from the Big Island, four volunteers from Maui, one volunteer from Molokai, and six volunteers from O‘ahu will be heading to Texas or Louisiana.

More Hawai‘i Red Cross Volunteers Deploy to Texas

As of Sunday, a total of eight Hawaii Red Cross volunteers have either deployed or will be headed to Texas to assist with the Red Cross response to now Tropical Storm Harvey.
