Kohala HI-PAL Keiki Fishing Derby a great success, with nearly 140 young anglers casting their lines
Participants in this year’s derby hosted by Hawai‘i Police Department Community Policing officers from North and South Kohala as well as Kona enjoyed a day of fishing, family and fun that included making gyotaku fish prints, a lucky number drawing and the chance to win a 2-night stay at the Hilton Waikōloa Village.
