Inada was charged with Negligent Homicide in the Second Degree (caused the death of another person by operation of a vehicle in a negligent manner) and Collisions Involving Death or Serious Bodily Injury.

On Sept. 27, VICE officers executed narcotics search warrants upon a vehicle and residence located on Kino‘ole Street in Hilo and recovered over 46 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Following the execution of a narcotics search warrant on Delos Santos’ vehicle, VICE officers recovered 265.97 grams – or over a half pound – of methamphetamine, which was broken down into nine separate packets each containing approximately one ounce of methamphetamine.

At approximately 8 a.m. on Sept. 11, officers responded to a trespassing report involving a male in a gray pickup truck in the parking of an apartment complex in the 100 block of Banyan Drive, in Hilo.
