Mayor Alameda appoints new directors for Environmental Management, Public Works departments

Daniel Girvan replaces Wesley Segawa as director of the Department of Environmental Management, with Segawa becoming director of the Department of Public Works.

Hawai‘i County Public Works to end herbicide spraying

Public Works Director Steve Pause said that “the Department has been working for some time to develop alternative means and methods to achieve maintenance of County infrastructure without the reliance on chemical herbicides.”
