Tre Evans-Dumaran is a 2016 graduate of Kamehameha Schools Hawai‘i in Kea‘au. He died Saturday after spending more than a week in the intensive care unit at a Maui hospital after being sucked into a storm drain and washed out to sea on Jan. 27 while responding to an emergency call during flash flooding in Kīhei.

Marines Honored Through Moment of Silence in Washington

Representative Tulsi Gabbard led the moment of silence, joined by Representative Mark Takai and members of Congress who represented the Marines’ hometowns, as well as former Marines and veterans in the House of Representatives.
