Kupu and Aloha Kuamoo Aina will begin the restoration of the Kuamo‘o battlefield and burial grounds in the North Kona District of Hawai‘i Island on July 7.

Aloha Kuamo‘o ‘Āina and The Trust for Public Land have successfully acquired the ancient Kuamo‘o battlefield and burial grounds on Hawai‘i Island south of Kona, 47 acres of makai land that includes a portion of the Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail and is rich in history, cultural treasures and burial sites.
