Winners announced for 7th Annual Keiki Water Conservation Poster contest on Big Island

More than 200 students from Hawai‘i Island’s public, charter, private and home schools displayed their water conservation knowledge and creativity by entering the 7th Annual Keiki Water Conservation Poster Contest.

The free contest promotes the importance of reducing water waste and protecting drinking water supplies. It challenges keiki to utilize artistic ways to depict conserving our most precious resource – safe drinking water.

The Department of Water Supply (DWS) is now accepting entries for its 3rd Annual Keiki Water Conservation Poster Contest open to Big Island students island-wide who attend kindergarten through the fifth grade.
