Flood advisory previously issued for portions of North Kona and South Kohala
National Weather Service radar indicated at just before 3 p.m. Friday that heavy rain was falling at a rate of up to 1 inch per hour over locations that included Kailua-Kona, Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport, Captain Cook and Waikōloa, among others.
