#Hui O Hawai‘i

Athletes from throughout Hawai‘i will compete in basketball, bowling and track and field in June in Minneapolis.

Hui O Hawai‘i, a team of 16 Special Olympics Hawai‘i athletes and five Unified Partners from throughout the islands, had racked up a total of 20 medals Thursday, June 9, after four days of competition at the Special Olympics 2022 USA Games.

As of Wednesday, June 8, the Special Olympics Hawai‘i team, or Hui O Hawai‘i, had earned a total of 18 medals, including two won by a Big Island athlete, at the Special Olympics 2022 USA Games.

As of Tuesday, June 7, the Special Olympics Hawai‘i team, or Hui O Hawai‘i, had earned seven medals, including three won by a Big Island athlete, at the Special Olympics 2022 USA Games.
