Several different sites around the state have already been identified as possible subzones, including the NELHA Geothermal Research Facility at Pohoiki and the University of Hawai’i at Hilo’s Hawai’i Innovation Center.

The Hawai’i Community Foundation has opened its doors to the Hilo community with the recent announcement of a second Big Island office at the Hawai’i Innovation Center.
