State Minimum Wage to Increase Jan. 1, 2017

The minimum wage for most employers will increase to $9.25 per hour beginning on Jan. 1, 2017.

Subcontractor for UH Hilo Construction Fined $143,000

Tradewind Plastering and Drywall Inc. has been assessed a total of $143,000: $130,367 for wages owed to construction workers, with $13,037 added for penalties.
