Hawaiʻi County fire, police dispatches merging temporarily due to staffing shortages

The Hawaiʻi County fire and emergency medical services 911 system will be combined with the county police dispatch system effective immediately due to staffing shortages, the Hawaiʻi Fire Department announced.
