State to conduct control measures for feral goats, sheep on Big Island mountains
Public access to the Mauna Kea Forest Reserve, Mauna Kea Ice Age Natural Area Reserve, Palila Mitigation Lands, the Kaʻohe Game Management Area and Mauna Kea Hunter Access Road will be allowed by permit only temporarilly closed from the evening of Oct. 29 to the morning of Oct. 30.
