Maui wildfire update: 55 fatalities confirmed amid active Lāhainā fire
Thirty-six fatalities were confirmed as Aug. 9 as the result of the deadly and devastating wildfires on Maui. Another 17 were confirmed earlier Aug. 10, with two more added that night.
