West Hawaiʻi Organics Facility to Reopen This Week

The county reports that a facility in West Hawaiʻi that closed earlier this month will be reopening this week.

Trailers, Dump Beds to be Restricted From Transfer Stations Islandwide

All trailers and dump beds will be prohibited to use at transfer stations islandwide starting Friday, April 16.

Keʻei Transfer Station Closed Due to Understaffing

The Keʻei Transfer Station is understaffed and will close today, and will reopen as regularly scheduled on Nov. 17 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pahoa Transfer Station to Close Friday

The Pahoa Recycling and Transfer Station will close on Friday, temporarily relocating to an area on Kauhale Road beginning on Saturday at 6 a.m.
