State shuts down Hilo eatery after multiple repeated food safety violations

Hiro’s Place in the KTA Center on East Puainako Street was shuttered Friday, being deemed an imminent health hazard to the public by Hawai‘i Department of Health.

State allows Ocean Seafood Chinese Restaurant in Kona to reopen

The restaurant was previously issued a red placard July 5 and immediately closed because of multiple violations.
