Funding approval moves expansion of reliable broadband forward in Hawaiʻi

Hawai‘i County Council gives nod to measures that will further Big Island broadband connectivity initiatives

Hawai‘i County looks to receive a total of $275,000 in grant funds to help develop and implement a plan to achieve equitable internet access around the island and help sign up households for financial aid to get broadband access.

Kohala Center Broadband Meetings Scheduled for Early 2015

The Kohala Center, in conjunction with Kealapono, will hold public meetings in January to explore the need for Internet services at broadband speeds in the area.
