Probable cause documents filed on Monday provide more detail about the shooting and the three-day manhunt that ended in Christopher Lucrisia, the alleged shooter of the officer, dying in a shootout with police on Sunday.

Hawai‘i Island police think Lucrisia, who is wanted for first-degree attempted murder, might be injured based on evidence collected at the scene of Friday’s shooting, which happened in the parking lot outside First Hawaiian Bank near Prince Kūhiō Plaza in Hilo.

37-year-old Jake Kiko is charged with first-degree hindering prosecution, a Class C felony, in connection with the search for 28-year-old Isaiah Fourshey, who allegedly shot and killed 25-year-old Latisha Soares on March 4 in Mountain View and later died following a police-involved shooting.

77-year-old Lowell Thomas Pofahl of Nānāwale Estates faces several charges including second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault following a domestic incident the night of Nov. 22, after which he called Hawai‘i Police Department dispatch and told authorities he tried to kill his wife.

58-year-old Shawn Edward Page allegedly shot at Big Island police officers during the incident at a residence in the 11-3000 block of Nahelenani Street in Volcano that began the morning of Oct. 9.

The 31-year-old also charged with carrying or use of a firearm in the commission of a separate felony. His bail has been set at $1,100,000.

Shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, Hawai‘i Island police responded to an unknown type of disturbance at a residence on 7th Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

Behrendt was taken into custody after Ka‘ū patrol officers conducting area checks observed him crouched down behind a parked vehicle on a public roadway near the intersection of Paradise Parkway and Luau Drive.

Alexander Alika Akau III, 39, is slated to appear in Kona District Court for a preliminary hearing on Thursday.

After reading the jury’s guilty verdict on Thursday afternoon, Prosecutors requested that Patricia Wong, who was previously released on $250,000 bail, be denied bail. In response, the Court increased Wong’s bail to $5,000,000 and she was taken into custody.

James Allan Wilson is alleged to have struck a woman in the head with a machete and a man with a baseball bat.

Responding to a shooting on Aloha Boulevard reported around 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Ka‘ū patrol officers made contact with a 43-year-old male victim, also from Ocean View. The victim reported that while sleeping in a tent on his property he was approached by an unidentified female asking for assistance with her vehicle.

The suspect remains in custody as police continue their investigation.

The 40-year-old is being held in lieu of $334,250 bail.

Upon arriving at “Loneliness Tree” in Hilo, officers discovered an unconscious 41-year-old man lying in sand next to a fire pit and portable metal grill, with his right arm pinned under a large boulder of the fire-pit.

Judge Wendy DeWeese maintained bail for both Dylan and Leilani Alcain.

A Kona couple has been arrested for attempted murder as Hawai‘i police continue to investigate a series of crimes over the past three days.

Rilson Rodrigues, 44 of Ocean View, was arrested and charged with a series of offenses, including attempted murder, following a domestic dispute on April 2 in Ocean View during which he fired a rifle multiple times at a 40-year-old woman trying to escape in a car.

As the Hilo grand jury convened, 44-year-old Ronald Kahihikolo appeared for a preliminary hearing in Kona District Court for the same case.
