Imade Charged with Manslaughter in Halloween Assault

Thirty-one-year-old Kallen Imade was charged late Wednesday in the death of 49-year-old Alfred Vea, who died following an assault on Halloween.

Man Dies Following Halloween Assault

Alfred Vea, the victim of Saturday night’s Hilo assault, was pronounced dead at The Queen’s Medical Center Wednesday morning. Kallen Imade, the suspect in the case, is in custody but has not been charged.
