High surf advisory for north-facing shores extended statewide
The north swell causing the advisory level surf is expected to begin falling later today.
Update: High Surf Advisory Cancelled
The National Weather Service has cancelled a high surf advisory for all south facing shores of Hawai‘i Island, it reported Tuesday afternoon.
High Surf Advisory Extended Through This Evening
The National Weather Service has extended a high surf advisory for Big Island’s west-facing shores to 6 p.m.
