Hawaiʻi’s first high school state surfing championship will take place next year on Maui

The first state surfing tournament of the Hawai’i High School Athletic Association will take place May 1 and 2 of next year at Ho’okipa Beach Park on Maui.

Gov. Ige Signs Bill into Law Banning Intentional Balloon Releases

The intentional release of balloons will now be banned throughout the state of Hawai‘i starting in January 2023.
