Every year Thousands of keiki living here on the Big Island start the new school year off without the necessary supplies they need. Instead of their first day being one of excitement & enthusiasm, they are often embarrassed or ashamed because they lack the tools to be successful.

Kapa Hawaiian FM in partnership with the Hawaii Island United Way will be doing our annual School Supply Drive on Saturday July 26th in Both Hilo & Kona Walmarts from 10a-2p. We will be excepting school supply donations which will all be delivered to the schools the first week of school. We will also have HIUW reps on hand to receive any monetary donations, which will be used to purchase more school supplies. Please join us in our efforts!
