Entry-Level Content Writer

Pacific Media Group, Hawaii's largest locally-owned media company, is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Content Writer with additional responsibilities in social media. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone who is passionate about media and wants to be a part of an innovative and fast-growing company.

As a content writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for our various digital platforms, including social media channels and newsletters. You will work closely with our team of experienced reporters, editors, and digital production professionals to help with press release rewrites, maintain our social media accounts, and assist with other lower-level tasks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail. Additionally, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Compensation for this position starts at $20 per hour, depending on experience. • Knowledge of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus skills include familiarity with basic graphic design principles and tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
