And when it's time to send these products to customers all over the world, we pack each shipment with Aloha too! We are seeking a detail-oriented Mail Order Packer (Seasonal) to assist in the daily operations of our Mail Order Packing department.Essential duties include:
Pull, pack, seal and process order(s) for outgoing shipment, with the utmost professional care;
Meet shipping deadlines on a daily basis in accordance with Big Island Candies' Quality standards;
Learn the day-to-day operations of the Mail Order Department, and be willing and able to assist with other departmental duties as assigned.
Skills, qualifications and attributes include:
Be customer service oriented;
Possess a strong attention to detail;
Use a variety of tools, supplies and equipment as it relates for the function of the job, and may be assigned to data entry on shipping computer system;
Work well independently as well as part of a team to meet operational goals;
Must be able to read, write and speak English;
Possess basic math skills.
Physical requirements include:
Must be able to stand for the entire work shift;
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day;
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: First Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Second Shift: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Weekends: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (primarily Sundays) starting in mid-November.
Extended hours may be required during peak seasons (November and December) to meet deadlines or due to operational needs.
