28th Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival - Kona Style!

In celebration of Hawaii's 193 year old guitar tradition known around the world as Slack Key Guitar (Ki-ho'alu), we have gathered some of Hawaii's finest musicians in Hawaiian music and slack key guitar including:  Donald Kaulia, Ben Kaili, John Keawe, Kailua Moon, Anthony Pfluke, Darrell Aquino, Ikaika Marzo, Bobby Moderow, Kahiau Lam Ho, Walter Keale, Brother Noland and many others.  It's an extravasganza of talent over four hours under one roof at the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa's renovated convention center ballroom.  It's a chance for kamaaina to reconnect with our culture and for visitors to immerse themselves in our living culture.  Festival is dedicated to Dakota Briley of North Shore (Oahu) who is battaling back from a horrific accident late last June.  Dakota Briley is currently at Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado after 7 weeks at Queen's Hospital in Honolulu rehabbing.  Attendees will be able to donate to Dakota Briley's recovery fund at the festiva or online.  Further, each ticket holder will be eligible for a free drawing for a couple for a One (1) Night stay at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort & Spa that will be good up to one (1) year to redeem courtesy of Outriger Hotels & Resorts Hospitality Group.  Admission:  $20.00    Children 12 & Under Free!
