Now in its fourth year, Race for the Reef brings together runners, walkers, and ocean advocates for a morning of movement and purpose. Participants of all fitness levels are welcome to join this celebration of community and conservation along one of the Big Island’s most scenic coastal settings.
Race Proceeds Benefit:
• The Kohala Center’s ReefTeach Mineral Sunscreen Dispenser Program — promoting reef-safe sunscreen use at Hawaiʻi’s beaches
• ʻĀkoʻakoʻa Coral Restoration Center — dedicated to restoring Hawaiʻi’s native coral populations
• Ocean Defender’s Alliance — working to protect Hawaiʻi’s marine environment through education and action
